A Look At Concussions

Brain injuries, or concussions, are a ubiquitous occurrence here in the United States. From car wrecks and contact sports injuries, to falling out the bed and hitting your head - these are all varying degrees of concussion.

Aside from resting, "traditional" medicine offers no treatment for such injuries.  Many people will suffer the effects, even after plenty of rest. The after effects include: persistent headaches, dizziness, neck pain, ringing in ears, slurred speech, mind fog, and even seizures.

Dr. Armond was taught, under the study of Dr. Philippe Druelle, the techniques of Osteopathy specifically developed to treat brain injury and brain spasm.  These techniques focus on alleviating the negative effects head injuries have on the blood vessels around the brain as well as the brain itself, returning it to a more normal function.  By aiding the body to heal itself, acute or even chronic cases can be treated without a great deal of patient suffering.
