About Dr. Armond

I am an Osteopathic Physician who has been in continuous practice in Georgia for over 30 years. I am board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Family Practice. I am also certified in Cranial Osteopathy.

I received my Osteopathic education and training at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. This is the original American School of Osteopathic Medicine founded in 1892 by A. T. Still, the father of Osteopathy.

Early in my career, I worked in the Emergency Room, providing hospital care, delivering babies and assisting in surgery. Gradually my practice shifted more and more toward Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.

It seems that there are countless doctors who hand out medications, but very few doctors who practice high quality Osteopathic medicine. I believe this is my calling.

Being a third generation Osteopathic physician, I have always been interested in the Osteopathic diagnosis and treatment. A conservative estimate is that I have attended over 1700 hours of post-graduate coursework on Osteopathic treatment approaches. I achieved certification in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in addition to special proficiency in Cranial Osteopathic treatment.

On this path, I met Dr. Robert Fulford, D.O., in 1978. He was an awesome Osteopath, philosopher, and an extraordinary human being. He displayed an ability to help people who had not been helped by many other doctors. I admired him greatly, and took advantage of every opportunity to study with him during his lifetime. As a result, I have incorporated much of what I learned from Dr. Fulford in my diagnosis and treatment methods.

I have studied in France and Canada as well as all over the United States with some of the finest Osteopaths in the world today. Currently, I am the only Osteopath in Georgia using Philippe Druelle’s Brain Spasm Release techniques as well as Bruno Chikly’s Brain Fluid and Parenchyma approaches. This enables me to significantly help concussions, head injuries and traumatic brain injuries.

Dr. Fulford taught me special approaches to automobile crash injuries, asthma and breathing difficulties, attention deficit disorders, specific learning disabilities, in addition to many other health challenges. Ken Lossing, D.O., taught me to treat the viscera and internal organs. This work has been very helpful to a great many people. My studies with Viola Fryman, D.O. greatly enhanced my knowledge and skills in working with infants and children.

I cannot possibly acknowledge all the wonderful Osteopaths to whom I am deeply indebted for their generosity in imparting their knowledge and skills. I strive to be the best Osteopath I can be. I give full attention to all my patients and I try my very best to give them as much help as possible. Often patients come to me after they have tried many other treatments that have not worked for them. I do not claim to work miracles. God works miracles. But I am committed to giving every patient the very best I have to offer.
